On the afternoon of Dec. 7, Nicholas County citizens met in the “Neal Welcome Center” and “The FeltLOOM Shop” for live music, a chili super, a visit from Santa, and a chance to complete some of their Christmas shopping. Kimball Booth brought Santa Claus for the visit so that children wound have a chance to tell their Christmas wishes and get a picture with the Christmas icon.
The band “Braided Faith” came all the way from Lexington to sing, and were followed by a music performance by Kara Christianson in the “FeltLOOM Shop” and “11 Miles” who were accompanied throughout the evening by band member Mark Messer’s children.
Allison Watkins won the music contest singing “Oh, Holy Night” and was given a cash card donated by “Three Star Industries” and “One Light Graphics”.

Santa Claus stopped in to visit the children in town.
