With the new year underway, many of us are remembering just why it is so hard to reach those goals which we set for ourselves at the end of 2019. Perhaps one of your goals was to learn new abilities or to pick up a new hobby. If this is the case, the businesses of Carlisle are prepared to help you. Many of the shops throughout Carlisle are making plans to offer workshops to their patrons so that individuals can learn new skills while building stronger community relationships.
Among these classes will be a cookie decorating class scheduled to take place at “The Carlisle Market” Feb. 9. The class will be given by “Dots’ Homemade Bakery”. If you are interested in attending this class, you can stop by The Carlisle Market or message them over Facebook.
The FeltLOOM, Textile and Creative Center, located 101 S. Broadway Street, also offers classes in repurposing fabric to make new creations, using their FeltLOOM. Using the methods taught during these classes, fabric made clothing can have a second life after it is worn out.
Gallery Z and The Following My Dreams Shop are also among the shops who are making plans to offer classes to the public so that everyone can have a little more experience in the lost and new arts.
You will need to visit these shops to get a better understanding of all the learning opportunities available.
